April MOP, Tragedi Genosida Terhadap Muslim Spanyol

Tiap tanggal 1 April, ada saja orang—terutama anak-anak muda—yang merayakan hari tersebut dengan membuat aneka kejutan atau sesuatu keisengan. April Fools Day, demikian orang Barat menyebut hari tanggal 1 April atau lebih popular disebut sebagai ‘April Mop’. Namun tahukah Anda jika perayaan tersebut sesungguhnya berasal dari sejarah pembantaian tentara Salib terhadap Muslim Spanyol yang memang didahului dengan upaya penipuan?
